Fall & Winter 2026 Hair Trends (and How to Get Each Look)

Posted by Aubriras Boutique on

New season, new hair. This fall and winter, stylists and runways are moving away from super-sleek, perfect hair toward looks with more volume, texture and warmth. Here are the trends everyone is talking about, and the easiest ways to get each look with a wig, bundles or extensions.

1. The polished bob is back

The bob keeps coming back, and this season it shows up two ways: the French bob, a chin-grazing cut with soft texture, and the soft bob, a lighter, slightly layered version that moves easily. Stylists are also talking about the flippy lob, a collarbone-length cut with ends that flip out.

Get the look: try a bob wig and skip the salon chair. Browse our bob wigs, like the Straight Bob Wig or the Coffee 13x4 Lace Front Bob Wig.

2. Big, full curls and volume

Flat hair is out. On the fall/winter 2026 runways at New York Fashion Week, designers showed teased hair, bouffant "poofs" and big, undone texture. Full, natural-looking curls with lots of body are one of the biggest looks of the season.

Get the look: a curly wig gives instant volume. Try the Kinky Curly Headband Wig, which goes on in minutes, or add fullness to your own hair with clip-in extensions.

3. Soft layers and long, '90s-style length

Long hair isn't going anywhere. It's just getting softer. The "'90s supermodel" cut keeps a full, thick-looking perimeter with long layers and face-framing pieces for movement. Long shags, U-shaped cuts and curtain bangs are also popular ways to add shape without losing length.

Get the look: go long with a Body Wave Front Lace Wig and ask your stylist to cut in face-framing layers, or build your own length with sew-in bundles.

4. Warm browns, caramel and honey

For color, this season is all about warmth: deep chocolate, espresso, mocha and chestnut browns, plus caramel and honey highlights around the face. These shades look rich in cooler weather and work on almost every skin tone.

Get the look: try the Honeycomb Lace Front Bob Wig for honey highlights, the Cinnamon Bob Wig for a warm all-over brown, or Honey Blonde Body Wave Bundles. See all our colored wigs.

5. Undone ponytails, braids and romantic updos

Runway updos this season were softer and more romantic: low, loose ponytails, braided buns and braids decorated with pins. The look is pretty and a little undone, not slicked back.

Get the look: a ponytail gives you instant length and fullness for a low, loose pony, and our Deep Wave Boho Braids are an easy way to wear braids with soft, curly ends.

6. Glueless wigs keep growing

Glueless wigs are one of the most talked-about wig trends of the year. They're quick to put on, easier on your edges and natural hair than glue, and beginner-friendly, which is why so many people are switching.

Get the look: shop our glueless HD closure wigs and pair yours with our Glueless Wig Install Kit. New to glueless? Read our beginner's guide.

Keep your hair healthy all winter

Cold, dry air is hard on hair and wigs. Sleep in a silk bonnet, keep heat styling low, and wash your wig with a sulfate-free shampoo. Our guide on how to clean your wig walks you through it.
